1. MASTER PAGE SETUP
Clean cut-size pages are created. The requested overflow should be over the clean cut size of the page during the work. So you can use cross disposal feature of the used program during the design automaticaly. Overflow share must be at least 3mm. The clean cut part of the work must be centered to the Media Box.

For being centered, the settings of Q5 picture is very important. Otherwise, the page will not fit during the installation. And this causes cutting wrong places of the page during the binding. 2. FONTS
Don’t try to use True-Type fonts because they can cause problems, you should convert if to be used. Instead of changing font properties from the program menu, the fonts` itself should be used. Example(Futura italic), (Futura Bold) Female fonts should not be forgotten behind the used layer. If there is a study, the layer behind the font should be carved. The same process should be applied on to the shadows of the fonts, too.

3. PICTURES and COLORS
All images should be CMYK. RGB will not be accepted for printing in any way. Pictures that will be used for printing should be at least 300 dpi. Photos should be saved as TIFF or EPS. DCS and JPEG format should not be used. The use of extra(spot) colors must be specified in the program. Unused colors (RGB, Pantone, HKS ,...) should be cancelled. Dogan Ofset should be informed for the usage of extra colors.

4. PDF Nomenclature
PDF gets the same name of PostScript file. Turkish characters should not be used in naming. (Ğ, İ, Ş, Ö, Ç, ğ, ı, ü, ş, ö, ç) The symbol"_" should only be used among the punctuation marks. Space should not be used. Dots can only be used to specify the file format. Pages should be prepared as either single or double. In CTP mounting system, the pages do not need to be same as the sheet format. Consecutive pages are ideal for CTP. i.e.04_08.pdf file consist of five pages. When such a nomenclature is made there should not be any skipping between pages for example 04, 05, 06, 07, 08. If an advertisement had been inserted between those pages, this PDF should have been divided from page of advertisement. i.e.If the advertisement is in the 6th page, the created file should be named as 04_05.pdf and 07_08.pdf. Model, page plan and PDF files must definetely be sent to Dogan Ofset.
